About Kystbussen

Kystbussen is an express coach service along Norways west coast between Bergen and Stavanger. The service began in 1993 when four bus companies agreed to cooperate to give travellers along the route Bergen – Stord – Haugesund – Stavanger a new and better transport service.

Now Kystbussen is jointly run by the companies Boreal Transport Sør and Tide Buss. Approx. 477.000 customers travelled with Kystbussen in 2012.

When using Kystbussen, you travel pretty fast and get a chance to enjoy glistening fjords, snow-covered peaks and idyllic small farms along Norways rugged, rocky West coast.
